I haven't ventured into children or family portraiture too much, but one of my personal favourite subjects to photograph is my nephew.  How can he not be, look how cute he is!!  And hey, if you want to sharpen your photographic skills, a photo shoot with a toddler will do it!  It's amazing that such a small person has SO MUCH ENERGY! And moves so fast! 

So here is our sunny Sunday afternoon...

Give him a pail, a shovel and some wood chips...Drooling in anticipation of the slide...I didn't actually get a shot of him sliding down because his Auntie had to play catch the toddler at the bottom...Climbing, climbing, climbing......and more wood chips...Over to the wading pool that sadly had no water...so kicking around the soccer ball instead...The humidex had the temp up at 38 degrees so it was quite muggy and hot....too hot to run around a lot so we left to seek out the splash pad......but first we stopped to watch the buses go by...he LOVES the bus...Soaking wet and loving it!Letting me know that this is where the water was coming from...And home in the back yard splashing in his own pool...
